ICPC Celebrancy Qualifications
When you become a Celebrant with ICPC, you will attend a 5 day residential training course at High Trenhouse in Yorkshire. Alongside that, we offer two online qualifications to choose from which are included in the price of your training and can be completed online at home within a specified timeframe.
This qualification deepens your knowledge and understanding about Celebrancy and fully equips you to confidently write and deliver a wide range of ceremonies.
The two qualifications are the Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy and The Platinum Double Diploma. Both are approved and accredited with NOCN - a top Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation.
NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK
Course length: 12 Months
The Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy consists of 5 assignments.
- Roles and Responsibilities in Civil Celebrancy
- Funerals
- Celebratory Ceremonies
- History & Legal Elements of Civil Celebrancy
- Creating Scripts & Eulogies
You will be given video lectures, and study notes to assist you through the assignments. Once you indicate that you would like to start, then you will be assigned a personal tutor, and they will guide you and give you feedback as you work through each.
You will be given a course workbook for your training week. This is a valuable resource, both for factual information that you will need to answer some of the assessment criteria, and also to make notes about your own learning. Use this to help you answer some of the questions posed in the assignments.
Platinum Double Diploma:

Naming and NOCN Diploma in Funerals
Course Length: 18 Months
The Platinum Double Diploma coursework comprises 20 units of work combined into 10 "projects" of work. These projects are designed to be interesting and engaging while demonstrating your knowledge and creativity.
