This residential provides you with an opportunity to step away from the busyness of the world and immerse yourself in a special learning environment. Celebrancy is about human experience, and our training is designed to make space for your own experiences and emotions, individually and as a cohort, during the residential.
Our trainers bring you a wealth of experience from the corporate world, education and their own successful celebrancy businesses. They will teach, train, equip and encourage you to build your own celebrancy business, whilst providing space in glorious surroundings for you to dream and be inspired to make those dreams a reality.
By the end of this week you will have a solid and confident foundation to create and deliver beautiful ceremonies and to continue growing your celebrancy business. You will also have begun work towards your chosen NOCN qualification. You will go away from the week with new relationships with your cohort and the support of our training team.

The Platinum Double Diploma is a combined course exclusive to ICPC - You will have 18 months to complete it after your residential course.

This course benefits from our unique 5 Day residential course and the NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK qualification, which is completed in the 12 months following your residential.
Once you have completed your residential week with us, you can begin your coursework and you’ll be assigned a personal tutor. You will have 12 months after your residential in which to complete this work.
The Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK coursework is comprised of 5 Assignments of work. Most are written Units but you will be required to give a live eulogy during your training week, on which you will receive feedback. There will also be a professional discussion with you personal tutor once you have completed the 5 assignments of work.
It’s important to note that you are completely able to begin working as a celebrant BEFORE completing your NOCN Certificate coursework. Most of our trainees return home and start promoting themselves immediately whilst doing their coursework.

2 NOCN Level 3 Diplomas achieved in one course
This course benefits from our unique 5 Day residential course and our Platinum Double Diploma: NOCN Level 3 Diplomas in Couples & Namings and Funerals which is completed in the 18 months following your residential.
Once you have completed your residential week with us, you can begin your coursework and you’ll be assigned a personal tutor. You will have 18 months after your residential in which to complete this work.
The Platinum Double Diploma in Couples & Naming and Funerals coursework is comprised of 20 units of work in 10 manageable Projects. Most are written Units but you will be required to give a live eulogy during your training week, which you will receive feedback for. There will also be a number of professional discussions with your personal tutor while undertaking the coursework. Your personal tutor will inform you regarding these discussions.
It’s important to note that you are completely able to begin working as a celebrant BEFORE completing your Platinum Double Diploma. Most of our trainees return home and start promoting themselves immediately whilst doing their coursework.

High Trenhouse, North Yorkshire
High Trenhouse is an exclusive use venue a stone's throw from the stunning Malham Tarn in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It offers a real retreat away from the world, gifting you with an opportunity to focus, rebalance and grow.
We will be the only group at the centre for the duration of your course. All accommodation and meals are include in the course price (excl. personal bar bills). The centre benefits from:
- Private en suite bedrooms
- Training rooms
- 4.5 acres of beautiful gardens with ponds and woodland
- 2 bars and lounges
- A sauna
- Footpath access to Malham Tarn and surrounding areas

From start to finish the training that I received from ICPC was outstanding. Their residential course is highly recommended. High Trenhouse is an amazing venue and I was made to feel special and valued during my entire time there. The room, food and venue all excellent. The course covered everything that I needed to know in order to be one of the best in the business. The trainers are experienced Celebrants themselves, so understand exactly the feelings of nervousness and anxiousness all too well when first starting out on your Celebrant journey. I have recently attended on of the residential courses at High Trenhouse, it was a wonderful learning experience in beautiful surroundings.
Everyone who I met, either running the venue, delivering the training and my fellow trainees were caring and supportive. I learnt not just from the trainers but also from other participants. I learnt so much and picked up plenty of good ideas to take me forward. And the best thing is the support doesn't stop once the course is over.
ICPC is a very supportive organisation, I do not know how celebrants start on their journey with no training input. Thank you all so much for everything, an amazing experience.
