I want to be a wedding celebrant, why do I need to learn funerals too?

A wedding is only one of the ceremonies a celebrant can perform but some people choose only to train for weddings. Why is it such a good idea to be a more well-rounded and knowledgeable celebrant and train in all aspects of celebrancy?
