3 Ways To Use AI In Your Celebrancy Business

AI (artificial intelligence) is taking the world by storm, and, as much as you may be uncomfortable with this, your celebrancy business won’t be exempt. As this amazing technology evolves, you can find interesting ways to incorporate it into your business. While the idea of AI coming near your business might make you shudder, it’s not as scary as it sounds. AI is simply a smarter way of working, and won’t interfere with the personal and sensitive nature of your celebrancy business. In fact it can enhance the way your personality and sensitivity shines through. Here are 3 ways you can implement it:

  1. Script Writing

Tools like Chat GPT can help enormously with generating written content. You can simply enter your prompt (for example, ‘write me an opening script welcoming guests to a wedding ceremony’). You will then instantly receive a uniquely written script that you can personalise to reflect your clients.  There are significant advantages to doing this.

  1. It will save you time and ensure that you meet your deadlines. AI written content is written in seconds and often requires very few edits. 
  2. The spelling and grammar will be excellent. This is music to the ears of anyone who struggles with writing. There will be no need to proofread for silly mistakes. 
  3. It will give you ideas you had not thought of before. 
  4. You can customise it. Add and delete sections, play around with the words, and make it as unique as you like. 

A disadvantage to using Chat GPT or any other chat AI is that the content can be quite impersonal. The technology is absent of a human touch, which is something you’d need to add in afterwards. 

A good compromise here is to use the feature for script ideas, rather than asking it to write out the whole script. For example, you might ask it to design a structure based around a set number of words, or a set length of reading time. You can then write around the structure, which still saves time and generates new ideas. For example - ‘Write a 500 word Ash scattering ceremony that includes references to nature.’

On the flip side, you could write your script first, and then ask AI to check it and make suggestions for edits, enhancing its meaning and creating greater impact, while checking for spelling and grammar. 

   2) Customer Support

AI Chatbots can help your customers to receive instant feedback when submitting an enquiry. This means, if you are busy, your customers feel tended to instantly without any waiting around. For example, the customer might ask about your availability for a ceremony, and the Chatbot can analyse your calendar, offer a time for an initial appointment and book it in for you. The Chatbot will then send the chat to you, so you can follow up with that customer in person. The downside to this is that some people can feel Chatbots are too impersonal, especially for a sensitive subject like a funeral ceremony. It may however, be more appropriate for Celebratory ceremonies.

   3) Marketing Materials

All Celebrants must market themselves to get business. This can involve a number of activities, including blog writing, newsletter creation, updating social media, updating the website, and producing leaflets or posters. AI tools can help you to do this quickly. You can save yourself hours of time, while incorporating marketing best practices, through the use of artificial intelligence apps and tools.
