Support For ICPC Members Taking The Platinum Double Diploma

We recently announced that we are launching the Platinum Double Diploma. For our members who have trained with us, that means it’s possible to further your learning past the Level 3 Certificate already achieved. 

We understand that, whether you did your Certificate a long time ago, or very recently, it can be daunting taking on a new challenge - especially one that requires some focused learning. 

Not everybody is academic, and some people may be deterred from additional learning due to work commitments, lack of time, lack of resources or very little support. 

That’s why we are committed to giving ICPC members and those who have trained with us the very best support possible to achieve the maximum qualification in Celebrancy. 

Ongoing Learning and Career Development

Henry Ford said, “Anyone who keeps learning stays young”, and while we cannot promise eternal youth, we agree with the sentiment here - learning keeps information and knowledge fresh in your mind, and helps to stay engaged in your career. By taking advantage of the latest educational opportunities (and currently, ICPC is the only training provider offering such a comprehensive qualification) you are actively participating in the development of your business and the services you can offer your clients. 

Furthermore, you will be setting yourself apart from your peers, many of whom will not have such a comprehensive qualification. 

Overcoming Barriers

There may be several reasons you’re not keen on doing the Platinum Double Diploma. Here are some of them, and how you can overcome these barriers. 

• Cost

We know that this Diploma isn’t cheap. Why shell out for a Diploma when you already have an accredited Certificate? Well, as we said, this is the most comprehensive qualification out there to date. It’s a bit like asking someone why they want the Master's Degree instead of the Undergraduate - there’s nothing wrong with having an Undergraduate, but the Masters is more advanced and demonstrates a higher level of learning. As a result, clients will know they are hiring the best, most experienced and professional celebrants. You could find that having the Platinum Double Diploma added to your resume boosts business, and that any costs you pay will be swiftly returned to you in revenue. 

• Time

If you are worried you won’t have time to complete this Double Diploma, you can take some comfort in knowing that, as an experienced Level 3 accredited Celebrant, you will already have plenty of knowledge. This means the materials will be easier for you to absorb than someone who is starting from scratch. You will also be able to use some of the work you did for the Level 3 Certificate to meet learning criteria for the Diploma. And as such, we don’t anticipate it will take you as long as a newly qualified celebrant. Furthermore, you have 18 months to complete the Double Diploma. There are 10 manageable projects to complete, and we believe 18 months is ample time to do it. Learn at your own pace and fit this Diploma around your other commitments. 

• Confidence in Learning 

Some people are not naturally academic. But even those with very little formal education will find this Double Diploma manageable thanks to its structure. You are supported by video lectures, study notes and a personal tutor to encourage your learning from start to finish. If you are worried about anything at all, we can support you.
