Our Celebrant Training Course
We are proud to bring you our immersive NOCN accredited Professional Celebrant Training experience from a beautiful location in the heart of the South West of England. This course benefits from our unique 5 Day residential course and either the NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK qualification or our exclusive Platinum Double Diploma, which are completed following your residential.
The Residential Training:
The first part of your training journey will be our intensive 5 Day residential at our venue in the beautiful South West of England. This week of training spans Monday - Friday and provides you with an opportunity to step away from the busyness of the world and immerse yourself in a special learning experience.
Our trainers bring you a wealth of experience from the corporate world, education and their own successful celebrancy businesses. They will teach, train, equip and encourage you to build your own celebrant business, whilst providing space in glorious surroundings for you to dream and be inspired to make those dreams a reality.
All meals, refreshments and accommodation are included - and we offer a FREE extra nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast before your course commences, so you have time to recover from traveling.
By the end of this week you will have a solid and confident foundation to create and deliver beautiful ceremonies and to continue growing your celebrancy business. You will also have begun work towards your chosen NOCN qualification and go away from the week with new relationships with your cohort and the support of our training team.
The Coursework:
Once you have completed your residential week with us, you can begin your coursework and you’ll be assigned a personal tutor. After your residential, you will have 12 months to complete your Certificate, or 18 months for the Platinum Double Diploma.
Most of the projects are written Units but you will be required to give a live eulogy during your training week, which you will receive feedback for. There will also be a professional discussion with you personal tutor at the appropriate point during your coursework.
It’s important to note that you are completely able to begin working as a celebrant BEFORE completing your NOCN Certificate coursework. Most of our trainees return home and start promoting themselves immediately whilst doing their coursework.

The Exeter Court Hotel is a contemporary hotel close to Haldon Forest, conveniently located just of the A38 on the way to Plymouth.
This venue provides comfortable en-suite rooms for your stay, wonderful locally sourced cuisine and excellent training facilities. All accommodation and meals are include in the course price (excl. personal bar bills).
Public transport links are available to Exeter St Davids train station and we can make arrangements to collect you.

From start to finish the training that I received from ICPC was outstanding. Their residential course is highly recommended. High Trenhouse is an amazing venue and I was made to feel special and valued during my entire time there. The room, food and venue all excellent. The course covered everything that I needed to know in order to be one of the best in the business. The trainers are experienced Celebrants themselves, so understand exactly the feelings of nervousness and anxiousness all too well when first starting out on your Celebrant journey. They are exactly suited to provide up-to-date, professional training, guidance and generally a helping hand. I have recently attended on of the residential courses at High Trenhouse, it was a wonderful learning experience in beautiful surroundings.
Everyone who I met, either running the venue, delivering the training and my fellow trainees were caring and supportive. I learnt not just from the trainers but also from other participants. I learnt so much and picked up plenty of good ideas to take me forward. And the best thing is the support doesn't stop once the course is over.
ICPC is a very supportive organisation, I do not know how celebrants start on their journey with no training input. Thank you all so much for everything, an amazing experience.
