Our Certificate Celebrant Training Course
We are proud to bring you our immersive NOCN accredited Professional Celebrant Training experience from a truly spectacular location in the Yorkshire dales National Park. This course benefits from our unique 5 Day residential course and the NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK qualification, which is completed in the 12 months following your residential.
The Residential Training:
The first part of your training journey will be our intensive 5 Day residential at High Trenhouse in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. This week of training spans Monday - Friday and provides you with an opportunity to step away from the busyness of the world and immerse yourself in a special learning experience.
Our trainers bring you a wealth of experience from the corporate world, education and their own successful celebrancy businesses. They will teach, train, equip and encourage you to build your own celebrant business, whilst providing space in glorious surroundings for you to dream and be inspired to make those dreams a reality.
This residential also serves as a retreat - celebrancy is about human experience, and our training is designed to make space for your own experiences and emotions, individually and as a cohort, during the residential.
All meals, refreshments and accommodation are included - and we offer a FREE extra nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast before your course commences, so you have time to recover from traveling.
By the end of this week you will have a solid and confident foundation to create and deliver beautiful ceremonies and to continue growing your celebrancy business. You will also have begun work towards your chosen NOCN qualification and go away from the week with new relationships with your cohort and the support of our training team.
The Coursework:
Once you have completed your residential week with us, you can begin your coursework and you’ll be assigned a personal tutor. You will have 12 months after your residential in which to complete this work.
The Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK coursework is comprised of 8 Units of work. Most are written Units but you will be required to give a live eulogy during your training week, which you will receive feedback for. There will also be a professional discussion with you personal tutor once you have completed the 8 units of work.
It’s important to note that you are completely able to begin working as a celebrant BEFORE completing your NOCN Certificate coursework. Most of our trainees return home and start promoting themselves immediately whilst doing their coursework.

Your learning journey with us begins on our immersive residential course at High Trenhouse in the glorious Yorkshire Dales National Park.
We make dates available to book over 6 months in advance and you can choose any date regardless of which qualification you choose.

All accommodation, meals, training materials are included in the cost of your course.

High Trenhouse is an amazing venue and I was made to feel special and valued during my entire time there. The room, food and venue all excellent. The course covered everything that I needed to know in order to be one of the best in the business. I have recently attended on of the residential courses at High Trenhouse, it was a wonderful learning experience in beautiful surroundings.
Everyone who I met, either running the venue, delivering the training and my fellow trainees were caring and supportive. I learnt not just from the trainers but also from other participants. I learnt so much and picked up plenty of good ideas to take me forward. And the best thing is the support doesn't stop once the course is over.
ICPC is a very supportive organisation, I do not know how celebrants start on their journey with no training input. Thank you all so much for everything, an amazing experience.

High Trenhouse is an exclusive use venue a stone's throw from the stunning Malham Tarn in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It offers a real retreat away from the world, gifting you with an opportunity to focus, rebalance and grow.
We will be the only group at the centre for the duration of your course. All accommodation and meals are include in the course price (excl. personal bar bills). The centre benefits from -
